hi , I had my first Tocilizumnab iv infusion 9 days ago for my RA, I have had a bad gut everyday since and tonight I have 2 cold sores on my lip and chin ( not had cold sores before )also my nose hasn’t stopped running ( that’s the least of my problems ) I have been taking immodium for the gut so I can leave the house but not sure if I need to tell my RA nurse about the cold sores, anyone else experienced my issues and can offer any advice , thanks

Sorry to hear you are suffering like this. Not sure whether this has any relevance but I started getting a very runny nose on such a regular basis that it prompted me to record dates. Every six days I couldn’t leave the house as it just wouldn’t stop. I did not feel ill but looked a mess. I now get prescribed Flixanase and it works brilliantly. Similar issues with other bio drugs.

I was going to have this but as I already have gut problems they decided against it. If it was me I'd report this.
