Looking for a good diet for weight loss for cirrhosis possibly using my vitamix using fresh fruits and vegetables and soups
Hi everyone, I am on a quest to help my son lose weight for his cirrhosis. He recently had to go on a medication to help control ammonia levels. So they took him off his diuretics. This has caused a significant weight gain for him in a short period of time. His weight is up to 317 right now and we are

Weight loss
Has anyone else on Pegasys lost weight. I seem to be losing 1lb a week and have now lost 11lbs in the last few months even though I’m eating the same amount as before.

Reversing NASH/Fibrosis
Has advised lifestyle measures and most importantly
weight
loss
. So yeah. Here I am, young and healthy (I thought), but now a bit frightened. I've read that NASH and fibrosis can be reversed, but I've read elsewhere that it's unlikely.

Alternative therapy, a follow-up
Years ago when I was early in my PMR journey I started going to a physiotherapist who offers low intensity light therapy. You can read a series of posts I made back then. I always felt it helped me during the early months and even years, and I continued going to see her for various other issues and

I do feel a bit thinner and I am told I look a bit thinner than before xmas yet no
weight
loss
although I'm jogging three times a week. What on earth is going on? Is this inflammation? I'd really welcome your advice and any information anyone can offer.

NASH TO SIBO TO EARLY STAGE CIRROHSIS: Contradictory dietary plans?
NASH and SIBO to Early Stage Cirrohsis; Small Intestine Bacteria Overgrowth (SIBO) transports excess destructive bacteria to the liver. I am in Seattle and totally unable to find a gastro or hepatology or primary who understands the relationship of these diseases. To complicate this more, several years

Thyrotoxicosis: nodules to hypothyroid or ADHD, Anxiety, or what? Oral changes after radiation.
I was walking 3 miles a few times a week, nit eating that much, taking stairs instead of elevators, etc.
weight
loss
seemed awesome after years of being over 200 pounds. Sooo.. they irradiated my thyroxin “hot” nodule in 2015.

Measuring Weight Loss Without Scales
Following a recent move I no longer have access to sitting scales (transfer from wheelchair) so I need another way of measuring
weight
loss
until I get the opportunity. For now I am going for waist size. Originally I was 36" but peaked at 42".

Hello I'm new here
That means I'm no longer on Keto and my
weight
loss
has stalled. My other problem is I need a hip replacement. My left hip is bone on bone and I've worn a grove in one part that causes a clicking sound when I walk. Plus walking is painful.

, muscle loss, nausea and food tastes bad, chronic sinus inflammation and just general misery.

Whatever works
We choose “
Weight
Loss
” at a category here, and so we have the desire for that in common. But since we’re all individuals ( our own dna, family history etc) our resolving, recovering and for me managing my disorder is individual to me.
