Has anyone else on Pegasys lost weight. I seem to be losing 1lb a week and have now lost 11lbs in the last few months even though I’m eating the same amount as before.

Hi there, yes, had significant weight loss on Pegasys, no change in diet or appetite, weight just dropped from week to week, had to buy smaller sized clothes. Gained all of it back on Jakafi, ongoing struggle to not gain more in spite of eating very little

If you don’t mind, why did you go from peg to Jakafi? I’m on Jakafi and it works good but I can’t lose the weight I’ve gained on it!

Same here, Jakafi weight gain won’t budge, I do intermittent fasting and try to up exercise with hardly any effect. Jakafi can also increase cholesterol levels, so be sure to have these checked.I had severe flu-like symptoms when on Peg, horrendous leg and back pain, muscle aches, and I generally did not feel well. Side effects did not improve with time. I would consider Besremi though when/if it becomes available in my country (South Africa).
