Knock wood... AFib continues to be in check
Nothing ever really changes besides my continued
weight
loss
. I was surprised when he pulled out my EP's review of my latest 2-wk ECG and ultrasound results.

Newly diagnosed Hyperthyroidism- what do my blood test results mean?
I’ve had
weight
loss
but only half a stone max and it seems to be going back on (+1lb a day) even before I have started taking any medication? Terrified of massive weight gain if I start taking medications and either that makes me gain weight or if I go hypo that makes me gain weight.

Update to private cardiology consultation.
He mentioned ongoing research being done in Australia along the lines of how
weight
loss
can affect af. So, as I am a little overweight, this is the incentive to knuckle down and loose some.

I found this helpful
In the USA multi use vials and injecting at home is becoming accepted for
weight
loss
by prescription. When I started self injecting I had not yet discovered this forum. I was going with what I had read.

Advice for weight loss
My new blood results are TSH 0.4 (0.2-4.2) ft4 21 (12-22) ft3 4.9 (3.1-6.8) vit D 34 (20-60) Is there anything I can change in my dosage to help with losing weight ? I keep gaining weight on levothyroxine. I am on 93,75mcg levothyroxine and 10mcg cytomel .

low pancreatic elastase
hello, I was recently admitted to hospital for severe
weight
loss
due to my ongoing gastrointestinal issues. I have been tested for everything but oddly a liquid stool test showed pancreatic elastase levels at <15 which is very low.

Waiting for

to stabilise (down some 4 stone so far) and endoscopy for varices investigation. Fingers crossed on that one.

I do it because I enjoy it and always have) and I get a decent amount of daily exercise - always over 10k steps.

Update 8.0 - Next chapter
He does not advise any action other than healthy diet, exercise, and continue with
weight
loss
. I have lost about 5 pounds in the last month, so that is moving in the right direction. I will meet with my PCP next week to review the plan. In somewhat better news, I met with my cardiologist.

NovoThor
Has anyone tried or have any knowledge of NovoThor PBM Therapy light beds? A friend saw a leaflet in a waiting room recently, so I’ve done a bit of research and it looks very interesting and if the stats are true good be very helpful for fibromyalgia sufferers, no mention of cost though! Bone pain, fever and

Is it safe to use red light / near infrared therapy if you have Graves' disease?
Hi all, First a little bit of background about me. I am 49, living in Ireland. I have Graves's disease diagnosed by an endocrinologist who did antibody test etc.. After diagnosis I underwent 18 months on Carbimazole and then came off for a couple of months but my T3 and T4 shot back up again (and TSH
