Hello everyone,
I was recently diagnosed with PCOS and currently on a treatment course to ease some of the symptoms that it causes for instance, irregular periods, acne and hair growth. On the 14th of march 2023, I went to the surgery due to a pain in my upper stomach that has been there for 3 weeks to be precise. This pain was causing symptoms such as, feeling really tired, vomiting, nausea, lots of sleepless nights, a regular sharp pain and feeling sick after eating ( which made me stop eating = unhealthy way to lose weight). The “feeling hungry” because of the Insulin resistance but scared to eat because of the pain it causes. I have been scheduled to do an ultrasound to check my liver, gallbladder and my stomach and some blood tests to check if it has anything to do with my already diagnosed syndrome. The doctor said that there will be also a diabetes tests included just to make sure if I have reached the diabetes stage. Early in 2022, I found out that I had an inflamed liver, which I found out that PCOS can cause due to the insulin levels in my body. In the upcoming weeks I will find out what the results are and hopefully a plan to help me on my weight loss journey. It has been really hard to lose weight yet, I am still overweight for my age and height. I haven’t been diagnosed with any mental health illness, but I have been really down lately and feeling tired all the time on somedays I can’t even get up.
Fingers crossed 🤞🏻hopefully everything works for the better.
I will be hopefully be sharing any news regarding this matter and what will happen next in my health journey.
Stay healthy, sleep well and take care of yourselves.
Lots of love and support,
Blueyy 💙
