Anxiety on holiday
Since on my holiday from last week I have constant anxiety symptoms, achy legs and arms, vibrating, chocking...this holiday was for the purpose to relaxing my body and mind! There is no much distraction here which I am unfortunately used to that, it is just a heaven, beautiful sounds of waves, sun,

Tourettes in middle aged adults
I would like to enquire from older TS patients (45 years and above) as to their level of cognitive functioning and employability at this time of life. In a nutshell , any worsening of comorbidities and not as relates to tics. Thanks in anticipation.

Apologies for the picture of my lower leg but this is what it looks like nowadays after I have taken my socks off. The sock elastic squeezes the water-filled cells, leaving a bulge above and below the line. At my 12-week appointment my weight was measured at 4kg above that at the baseline (80kg vs 76kg

TBI & ADHD; why can symptoms of the former not become identical to those of the latter & then be treated as such...?
Hi. I've only recently discovered that adult ADHD exists and now feel I've finally been able to ID my late-onset symptoms after so much struggle & self-blame over the years. I'm 18 years post TBI and still struggling in ways I shouldn't be after this much time. However, what I've found impossible to

I feel hopeless about creating any hobbies, talents, and the like.
Now, I'm new here, so as always, I'm probably not doing this right. Bear with me, but I need some advice from someone who is not as incompetent as me. All my life I've lived in a haze. I mostly attribute this to my autism spectrum disorders and autistic tendencies. Up until a couple years ago, coincidentally

Advice: Cyberknife treatment of prostate AFTER TURP and Axumin scan
Just got back from yet another Urologist, seems no wants to place markers in my prostate after I had a TURP for RT treatment. The reasoning they say is the risk of prostate radiation side effects ( incontinence urine and bowel, needing to cath myself, etc...) that will last my lifetime is too great,

Can I still lose weight if I’m so inactive
I spent four months in hospital (one month was in the hospice) I had really bad side effects from a course of chemotherapy Packlatoxol (I might have spelt this wrong) I instantly gained 3.5 stone due to
water
retention
and although I’ve lost a lot of the fluid my legs are still on the puffy side.

Is it autism
I have a 4 year old and I am unsure as to whether or not I should go to the GP. For about 2 years now I have questioned whether he may be on the autistic spectrum. I would say if he was it would be mild as he has reached all developmental milestones. However there are certain traits that make me think

I was posting regularly and lost track and now I have returned. My mom and her 9 sisters all had restless legs and some on them took Paragoric which you could buy over the counter as long as the druggist kept track and only sold you 3 ounces a week.. I don't think any of them abused the opiate which

Well it is now November 2018 and things have progressed. In July my baby daughter, 56 this year, accompanied to see my urologist to review my latest PSA test. It was 0.98; my lowest ever was 0.3 and highest 1.03. My urologist saw this as a positive sign and I laughed out loud. My reading of published

Hi Everyone. I am the best friend of someone diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer
My best friend has been diagnosed with Advanced prostate cancer almost 2 months ago. Gleason is 8 (4+4) with bone mets in femur, pelvis, ribs, and humerus. He has 2 lymph nodes on his kidney and possibly near the throat. He started Firmagon and another injection to prevent bone loss 3 weeks ago.

I'm a mess.. 41 yrs old.. been struggling with depression and anxiety since 10 yrs old, probably younger.. unmedicated.. I know I need to see a doctor, I just don't know how to begin telling my story.. I've been a daily crystal meth user for 17 yrs, and if meth isn't available, it'll be something else
