Vitamin K

I do sometimes get night time leg cramps though and have heard that vitamin K may help with them. Does anyone know whether it is ok to take this supplement?

sure which one which and saying control the leafy greens and salad that contain Vitamin K However on the new prescription tablets i have just got there is no mention of Vitamin K and green leafy vegetables and salad greens in the leaflet inside the box Can anyone give me any information please

And leafy greens seem to be high in Vitamin K providing what we need to help slow PC progression?

Is it necessary to take vitamin K with vitamin D 3?

Hi, Wonder what's your opinion about anticoagulant supplements such as fish oils, Curcumin versus foods reach in Vitamin K like most of green veggies. Could there be no contraindications while consuming both as it kind of evens up ?

More surfing I came across more sites say this, BUT also sites that said pumpkin seeds were LOW in vitamin K, whilst others had them as HIGH. Talk about contradictions!! Anyway, has anyone had any "formal" advice on this?

I see the story posted about menadione, a vitamin K precursor is effective in treating prostate cancer. In the book, Natural Strategies for Cancer Patients, Russell Blaylock goes into detail as to why vitamin E fails to treat PC.

I read that taking vitamin D while not supplementing with vitamin K also can be dangerous as it can lead to calcification of the arteries. I am on warfarin and have been told that I really need to up my Vitamin D, but what do I do about vitamin K?

Green veg such as spinach, kale etc which contain nitrates which open the arteries and calm inflammation also contain high levels of vitamin K which aids in clotting. Obviously I’m taking an aspirin to reduce my chance of clotting.

Had to have it reset with vitamin K a few months ago as it leaped up to 7.8 (had C-Diff & campylobacter at the time so was surprised it went high instead of low). It behaved for a whole month and just seems to be going crazy again now.
