I read that taking vitamin D while not supplementing with vitamin K also can be dangerous as it can lead to calcification of the arteries.
I am on warfarin and have been told that I really need to up my Vitamin D, but what do I do about vitamin K?

My advice would be to eat a balanced diet rich in vit K and dose your warfarin to match, rather than avoiding Vit K, if you are able to keep things stable this way. Vit K and D do work together but if you are not exceeding 1000IU/25 micrograms Vit D each day alongside getting Vit K from your diet, there is unlikely to be a greater risk of calcification. If you are taking more Vit D than this long term I would seek advice from a pharmacist.
