Brother started bleeding from back passage and was taken into hospital 16 days ago. Reason was INR was too high (6.9). Given Vitamin K injections to bring it down.Now it's too low at (1.1). And Drs day it's his body that's not working .

what is his target range, when was last time he was tested.
6.9 seems awfully out of range(mine should be 2-3. Checked every 6 weeks at most.
Usually 2-3. Every 4 weeks. Been on it for years. Allowed home tonight, return Friday for bloods. Thanks
That does sound very odd. I bet he felt awfully cold, thinners bring blood temp down , I guess he is on warfarin. 4 week intervals sound normal for that.
Heart rate very low, how normal is that?
