Mouth ulcers
Hi All, Newbie here.... I've been diagnosed with Hashimotos but with a working thyroid, but due to symptoms have been put on a low dose of thyroxine 25mg since April. Since July I have had mouth ulcers every week I was wondering is there a link between thyroxine and mouth ulcers? Thanks in advance for

Sore Mouth on Methotrexate
Suddenly yesterday I started feeling what feels like burning in my mouth. I can't see any obvious sores or ulcers but the roof of my mouth and tongue are a bit red, 'raw' and sore feeling. My throat is now starting to hurt a bit too. I was warned to look out for ulcers, but a sore tongue? I've just

Chronic fatigue
Hi all I am 27 years old and been diagnosed with mild endo for a year. The pain since the lap has subsided as I have the hormonal coil and barely have a period but recently it has come back with a vengeance and my flares up are getting worse. I have just started a new high profile job and have been tired

NCT02478125 - for prostate cancer metatstses
This was at Johns Hopkins just last week. I went down for a screening interview, which was wonderful, and the whole experience was fantastic. Unfortunately, I was too healthy for the trial, so I have to at least wait. I characterize it as an "off label" use of a pretty standard procedure: essentially

Anyone know if there is a link to increased cold sores?
Hi all, I have been deficient for some time in vit D, Folic acid and B12. I had my loading doses and was also put on a mini pill to help regulate hormone levels. Before I started the pill, I had increased outbreaks of coldsores in my nose, under my nose, lips etc (disgusting) this then decreased when

For the past 3 days I've been having extremely bad pain in my mouth...... I only saw the dentist last week so I know everything is fine with my teeth. But I can't actually pinpoint where in my mouth it is. Sometimes it's at the top then next time it's at the bottom. I can eat fine either side with

Hospital Boomerang
Well back in the nation health all inclusive holiday camp. This weeks good news is my husbands stem cell transplant seems to be doing well. He's out of kings and enjoying home life, so I seem to have taken up residency in his place. Last few weeks was a tad rough admitted to hospital with shingles, but

Venetoclax or bone marrow transplant?
My son has CLL with 11Q deletion. he could have a haplo transplant with his brother as a half full match donor but given his pneumonia has not subsided he is now looking more towards Venetoclax. The transplant has been postponed non stop because of fever from pneumonia. Feedback will be appreciated.

Salty or rotten taste 24/7 - anyone else?
I was going to ask if this is normal but it has become my normal so instead I'll just ask what I can do to improve it. I drink a lot of water, don't have a particularly dry mouth, think it is more likely coming from above ie nasal passage/ simus's, than below but it is the bane of my life along with
