Is it the Shingles vaccination or Prednisone reduction?
I was on the third week of lowering pred dose from 5mg to 4.5 using the five week go slow method. I was feeling good. The day after the Shingles injection I began to feel ill with severe stomach pains digestive upset, headache, lightheaded, Insomnia but extreme tiredness. Could it be simply the fact

PMR & COVID Vaccine Link?
Our objective is not to refute the importance of vaccines, but to raise awareness about the potential risks of COVID-19
vaccination
. In fact, we believe that the benefits of
vaccination
far outweigh the possible risks and encourage people to get vaccinated.

When We Have CLL, Why We Need Particularly need an Immunome. (Why neutrophil and immunoglobulin counts don't measure immunity all that well)
Or proactively recommend
vaccination
boosters or prophylactic antibiotics or antivirals? This is what a CLL specific immunome could provide.

Stopped Prednisone Completely
I mentioned to my doctor on 2023-12-26 that I had read of the possible association of PMR with the COVID shots, that my PMR hit me within 24 hours of my second booster and that I was most reluctant to get another COVID
vaccination
.

I have been advised by Rheumatology to pause my MTX for two weeks following
vaccination
. Does anyone know whether it is ok to have the
vaccination
soon after taking the medication?

COVID Vaccination and Chest pain
I haven't had another COVID
Vaccination
since, but all the medical advice seems to be that as I'm over 65 with a heart problem, I am putting myself at risk by not having a
vaccination
. A bit of a dilemma!

Pfizer vaccination and AF
I had a Covid
Vaccination
on Monday which I think triggered the longest attack of AF I have had for ages. I am ok now but very washed out. Has the Covid vaccine caused palpitations fo anyone else? Not having a vaccine again!!

Covid vaccination brand
My concern is the Pfizer Covid
vaccination
because it gives me a leg rash - Livedo reticularis, which worsens each time and never goes away it is not itchy but results in a very dry skin. Does anyone know if there is a different brand available? I had no problems with AZ?

Protection from Coronaviruses That Haven’t Yet Emerged
In practice, one has to ask: - Would governments support a "peace-time"
vaccination
programme including boosters? - Even if supported, what vaccine take-up rates could be expected?

Careful about vaccinations....
I heard over and over again that it was safe to take both your flu
vaccination
and your Covid-19 current updated
vaccination
on the same day. Well, for me, that wasn't exactly the smartest thing to do. I took them Monday about 12:30 or 1 o'clock and by Tuesday about 1:00, I simply melted.

Can shingrix vaccination effect platelet count?
Hi everyone I’ve just been for my 4 month appointment with my haematologist and my platelets have increased from 375 to 460. He wants me to come back in 2 months time and then if platelets not reduced my hydroxycarbemide will be increased. I’m on 9 tablets a week for ET aged 71 and fit. I’m not keen
