Covid vaccination brand

I was diagnosed with ANCA+ Vasculitis 15 years ago. Currently treated with rixathon every 7 -12 months. I used to be treated with rituximab but that affected my memory. My concern is the Pfizer Covid vaccination because it gives me a leg rash - Livedo reticularis, which worsens each time and never goes away it is not itchy but results in a very dry skin.

Does anyone know if there is a different brand available? I had no problems with AZ?

Hi Rosie I have had 6 doses of Pfizer but also 2 doses of the Moderna Vaccine last year which is the “Spikevax” type. Nick.

Thank you Nick, I will see if that is available in our area, it wasn't last November! Have you any idea if it includes protection for the latest variants?

Hi Rosie, it was definitely tweaked to take into account Omicron that surfaced in November 2021 but after that probably not. Nick.
