Blood test and vaccinations

Hello.I have been offered a COVID and flu vaccination which is brilliant but I am also due my first review of bloods to check Levo dosage at the same sort of time. My vaccinations are on Sept 30th, my 8 week review would be Oct 7th. Will the vaccination schew the results and if so how should I time these two events ? Thanks in advance.

Might do

Could you reschedule covid vaccination for after thyroid blood tests

Flu one shouldn’t be an issue

Can’t risk moving Covid, very unlikely they’ll have any space left, it’s only a small doctors surgery. May have to just take the risk !

you could move thyroid test a week or two later

The covid vax has unequivocally demonstrated that it can skew many things. Regarding timing - take your thyroid tests and postpone the jabs.

Hello. Unfortunately I can't postpone the jabs. My surgery only offered two dates and now they are fully booked. Also I've been offered a COVID jab and I'm not sure why. I used to be borderline asthmatic but am no longer, I'm only late fifties and don't really see why I've been offered one but I'm certainly not going to say no !! I think I'll just postpone the thyroid test or even take the test just before the jabs 🤔

Hmmm. Please find out why, "informed consent" is still a "thing". At least Socrates knew why he was offered Hemlock :)

You may have noticed a post yesterday on HU (kidney section maybe?) when 14 out of 15 respondees were negative about the jab on offer - before the post was closed. Just saying!
