Steroids and Covid Vaccination

Covid vaccination is now due, am not sure whether to book or not.

is it ok to have this whilst on steroids ?

Yes, It is not a live vaccine which is the problem when on steroids. You will give your existing immunity due to previous jabs a boost by having this one,

I have had the flu jab since on steroids and also every Covid jab offered with no problems other than an achey arm. Having both on Saturday ready for a long flight to Australia

Yes - I've only had flu jabs since I've been on pred - didn't qualify before! And had all my Covid jabs.

I had Covid and flu at the same time last year with no ill effect other than a bit of a sore arm. Having both done again later this week.
