scaring of the heart
Hi 😊😊 I had emergency surgery for perforated bowel Dec 22. I was in hospital for 8 weeks. There were many complications but I’m still here. I had an ICD fitted, this because I had 2 cardiac arrests 🙈. I’ve had many scans and MRI and they found scaring on my heart ❤️ I’ve had genetics blood test

PSA undetectable
After surgery PSA should be undetectable. What does it mean. Once the lab give 0.03, once 0.04. I guess it s the lab (standard error of the machine), but what is the limit of the lab and when should i consider that THERE IS a PSA. Why is PSA still detectable after surgery should nt it be 0.00 ?

Dr Glen Z brooks NYC
I met with Glen a couple of weeks ago , he is now 76 and no longer taking in new RLS patients It has become increasingly difficult for him to prescribe Buprenorphine the biggest problem is he cannot find doctors who will continue to prescribe for Buprenorphine when he is no longer working. I know this forum is primarily for those with advanced PCA, yet I regularly see posts by those who've only recently discovered the disease and are not in such adavanced stages, being treated only with 1st-generation ADT. Thus, as a nearly 20-year survivor of PCa (first discovered in 2005) and 10-year

TKR waiting list
I have had an appointment today at orthopaedic and trauma where they x-rayed both my knees and I’ve finally been recommended for TKR in my right knee. I am so pleased and relieved. The doctor doing it has full 5 star reviews and has explained procedures before, during and after surgery, he has told me

Advice on liver and kidney results on latest blood test
Diagnosed end of April, 2 days of intravenous pred @ 500, 1 day at intravenous @ 1mg and then onto 60, 50, 40, 35 - just started on 30 today. Bloods from 3rd June came back with liver and kidney markers out of range ....... steroids 🤷♀️ Have a slot to discuss the results with the surgery pharmacy

I can see the exit from the tunnel and the sun is shining.
it’s only taken 3 weeks after half a lifetime of RLS for 2 amazing medical professionals to get me on the road to recovery. Having spent over £1k in going in the wrong direction with private medical care I found a Consultant Neurologist, I should say a member of this form found him and passed his name

Last year I had a loop recorder fitted which showed that when I have the fainting which apparently is called simple fainting/ reflex syncope my heart stops/ pauses for a long period of time the first time they caught was 42 seconds. I was put on

The Existence of the Oligometastatic State in Prostate Cancer (and other cancers)
Members of the FPC Forum: I submit to you that either I am a Prophet/Visionary, or I am a Fool, but I state clearly... and emphatically...that the oligometastatic state exists in Prostate Cancer and other cancers as well..I believe that if we were to sum it up as an equation, that it would be something

Body identical HRT
Hi everyone Just posting this in case it helps. I was on HRT but bleeding daily/feeling depressed. I couldn’t get a doctor appointment. I paid £90 for a 30 minute appointment with a BUPA doctor. She changed my HRT to body identical HRT Evorel 50 patches daily and Utrogestan 200mg tablets 2 weeks
