Body identical HRT

Hi everyone

Just posting this in case it helps.

I was on HRT but bleeding daily/feeling depressed. I couldn’t get a doctor appointment. I paid £90 for a 30 minute appointment with a BUPA doctor. She changed my HRT to body­ identical HRT Evorel 50 patches daily and Utrogestan 200mg tablets 2 weeks on/2 weeks off. The bleeding and feeling depressed stopped literately almost overnight. I paid £65 for a 3 months supply and they sent a letter to my surgery. I now get it through the NHS.

I know not everyone can afford to pay to go private and we shouldn’t have to but if anyone is struggling like I was and cannot get the doctor to sort it, going private really helped me.

Just got to wait for my gyno appointment now to try and get an MRI or larp, to check for endo/ando/fibroids, as ultra sound never shows anything.

I'm so pleased this has worked for you, but annoyed that you had to go private. Natural progesterone should be the first thing your GP offers you. You shouldn't have had to go via BUPA. At least it's working and you feel better x
