Hi I have had a uni knee replacement 6 weeks ago since this I have been suffering with pain in every part of my body, is it possible to get a PMR flare after the body has the shock of surgery? it 6 years since I was diagnosed my bloods say I have no problems my body says otherwise and it and myself are very confused and depressed.

May well be..are you off Pred completely? Previous post 2 years ago stated on 5mg at that time.
If your PMR was still around, albeit at a very low level, an assault on your system such as your replacement may have been enough to reignite things… or it might just be bad timing, and it would have happened anyway.
But best to follow it up. And more info would help us to give more appropriate advice. Plus don’t just go on bloods - they may well be up anyway after the surgery.. symptoms are the key.. and if they seem like PMR, they probably are!
Hi, Unfortunitly I am still on 5mg a day and should have stoped by now I know! working on that as we speak, just to many things going on with the old body. New Hip on order 😱 New knee is pretty good inits self thank you.
No "should have been on less by now" - if YOUR PMR won't let you, it won't let you. I'm on 7mg after 15 years of pred, 20 of PMR, and that is WITH Actemra.
