First IVIG infusion
I've learned so very much here in this group, from so many here, Thank you all. Although I post very little and do read and am concerned for everyone. I want to ask what are some of your experiences with getting IVIG ? Side effects ? Reactions ? I've been told very little by Dr and PA. Dr did say

Too much thyroxine?
Hi, Please can someone help me? I have Hashimotos, Sjogrens & Antiphosphilipid syndrome. Has anyone experienced continuous rolling migraines for a week? I donāt usually suffer from migraines, other than the odd visual aura if my INR drops below 2. For the last week I have had frequent daily auras

To Big Tow Arthritis
I have mild arthritis in my foot. I use Wiley's Wild Alaskan Fish oil 2300 MG, half a teaspoon daily and have no foot pain. If I forget it for a few days the pain returns. It's good for the heart and brain as high Omega 3. Apparently its stronger than other fish oils. Hope it helps.

Tapioca in gluten free products/reduces iodine absorption?
Hi Iāve just discovered, in a roundabout way, that tapioca can affect iodine absorption,so not advised for those with thyroid issues. I donāt know scientifically about this, just thought Iād mention on here. I have a type 1 latex allergy, have been on a gluten free diet to improve thyroid, but noticed

Venting about a poor night, again and no relief in sight
This is more of a desperate rant than anything else -- I wish I was outside today, in the sun and enjoying life. Instead I'm in bed feeling wiped. Last night I tried codeine, again. Only this time i tried a much higher dose. All previous times I've used codeine it's either worked alright or not very

Hello To You All
My husband and I continue to eat low carb, about 4 years now. Any one else continuing? Rather disappointing that low carb doesn't have a higher profile in many countries. Any idea why? My husband has also been looking into the omega 3 omega 6 ratio in our foods and the absolute intake of omega 6.

Iodine, anyone?
Researching Iodine supplementation. Theres a couple of fascinating books on the subject. Iodine is a very powerful element in regards to its effect on the human body. It seems like most of the people of the world are Iodine deficient Adding Iodine to salt, according to the books, does absolutely zilch

Iodine and Povidone - A Chemistry Lesson
Over the years, we have seen many mentions of povidone-iodine. This video is the first time I have ever come across a proper explanation as to why povidone-iodine is chosen! It then continues with its aim of extracting pure iodine from povidone-iodine. The video could be very boring if you are

Tiny Levo increase but FT4 well over range
Just got results back from MMH. Iāll add historical results for comparison but they may be irrelevant as I am where I am! I take Levo only. Ranges were 3.1-6 for FT3 and 12-22 for all tests. 2021 on 100mcg TSH 0.01 FT4 24.9=129% (12-22) FT3 6.5=91.89% (3.1-6.8) Note: insomnia much improved
