What to eat?
Before I was diagnosed with thyroiditis and hyper phase I would eat fish three times a week. I've stopped as cos is very high in iodine.....was I right to do so as I didn't get any advice from GP about diet.

Flare advice
Hi again. I wrote the other day asking about stress flares. Well, I went fr 1 1/2 back up to 2, thought it was going to help but now I can see it wont and seems like its going to be a humdinger. What is that "temporary" fix where you go up a bit for a few days and then start a quick taper? It

Acalabrutinib treatment going well
I have been on one dose daily of Acalabrutinib for 4 weeks now and am doing quite well. The fatigue has improved quite a lot, although I won't be running any marathons, and I don't feel sick every day. So a good response in my opinion. Headaches and some muscle discomfort daily but Tylenol dampens

Prostate cramping...
I recently finished up 40 sessions of radiation. First, generally over the prostate bed, finally more targeted "boost" at prostate and lymph node areas. Doc cut short the plan from 46 planned because my pain is so bad. I have these intense cramps that make me feel like im going to crap my pants...

It's around 3 months now since I took my last tiny piece of pramipexole, after a pretty rough time of crawling legs, arms, shoulder shivers, I'm finally getting better!!! While coming off

Prep for egg collection- impryl or coq10?
hi lovely warriors, I hope you’re all keeping strong and positive on your journeys xx We are preparing for new fresh cycle , the consultant advised to take impryl (for both me and husband) and 200 mg coq10 x 3 a day. Today I was reading Impryl website and it says not to mix with coq10. Now I’m wondering

types of salts and iodine
Edit: thank for all the responses. It looks like when the salt is iodised, it would be stated on the packaging. Himalayan, Celtic and sea salt contain iodine naturally whereas rock salt doesn’t. I use Bart’s rock salt and they confirmed it’s non iodised. hi, I Have Graves so should avoid iodine. Does

Question for thyroidectomized patients: iodine processing issues?`
Hi, it seems to me that if I eat a bit too much seafood, I see some adverse issues. I do not have a thyroid, and wonder - since the thyroid is by far the organ with the highest need for iodine... how does iodine get processed in the body of someone who does not have a thyroid? If you also lack a thyroid

codeine
I’m just wondering if taking a 60mg dose of codeine each night is addictive? I’m only taking codeine occasionally at other times if I’m in agony with my other health problems. I’ve noticed that it helps my RLS calm immensely when taken with or a low dose of pramiprexole. I also find a hot way bottle

Persistent migraine frustration
I got my first migraine when I was 12 years old. I got them fairly regularly with aura, painful, and nausea. They gave me fioricet or caforgot (sp) but I was so small back then that it just made me sleepy. Once I got over the nausea part of the headache, I would just "deal with" the pain for the few

A Miracle
Hi Everyone, It's been a while and I pray that everyone is one step closer to healing. I'm back to share good news and hopefully offer a glimpse of hope to others. My husband has recovered from PMR! This community was so helpful, encouraging and supportive that I had to come back and share. Moreover
