Wasting GP’s Time, so it seems
I saw my GP on Thursday. I took another copy of the Mayo Clinic guidelines with me.When I told him about the tingling and aching in my legs, he examined then with a Doppler, he did not do a neurological exam.I explained the guidelines would suggest the need for an iron infusion considering my nightly

ADVICE PLEASE asap
If I take 10mg of zolpidem when I go to bed, is it safe to take 30mg codeine if I wake in the middle of the night with RLS symptoms. Have googled drug.com and see a MAJOR interaction so am worried about taking both. My sleep specialist who prescribed them never gave me any advice.

Can of worms
I have always been grateful for all the help I have received from HealthUnlocked since I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's some eight years ago. For the last few years, I have done very well on 100 mcgs of Levothyroxine and 8 mcgs T3 per day. I find a Keto, completely gluten free and almost entirely organic

Thanks for all the replies to my first post. They were all really helpful. Sorry I haven't reply to any yet, but I had an emotional few days.I've just been back to the doctors, (different, more senior gp this time) for some pain management advice. I told him all areas that hurt and he said "Ooh, rheumatology

my 30 year old daughter had been treated for hypothyroidism for the last 8 years and takes 125 mcg Liothyronine. Recently a friend in Hong Kong where she lives as suggested sea moss supplement and she feels she has more energy and less brain fog. I’m concerned about the iodine in it but other components

Besremi Side Effects
Hello, I would like to hear from anyone who has experience with Besremi. After 9 years on Hydroxyurea, it stopped working for me. I now have some scarring in the bone marrow, as per biopsy. I am a 60 year old female, and now on Besremi since February 1, 2023 , about 10 weeks. However, two weeks ago

continuing pain and a toothache?
I’ve been posting recently about some new pain and trying to discern what’s causing it. Thank you to all who replied with your experience and suggestions. I’ve had arthritis and swelling in my right knee for quite awhile. I also have mild to moderate scoliosis. The pain started with back

Raised ALT and GGT after surgery but worried about Hepatitis/other illnesses
Hi, I have been feeling unwell for a while, which I think is mostly anxiety. Nausea throughout the day, a bit of fatigue and sweating at night. I went away with friends and had a very hard drinking weekend, the week after until the present day (3 months) has been horrible. Nausea and fatigue mostly.

Stiffness when tapering
Well I have already posted my history, although I should maybe update my profile to date, but now I have decreased fairly quickly, as per rheumy,s instructions, since Dec at 40 mgs, (due to suspected GCA), which apparently did not show in temporal ultrasound, at any rate, now down to 10 mgs, for this
