Hand Foot and mouth disease
Does anyone know if there are any problems with hand foot and mouth disease as a sufferer of MPO Vasculitis? My son has it (he works in schools). As my immunity is suppressed I am concerned of any complications if I catch it!! Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hand foot and mouth
I thought shingles for the duration of November was a tiny bit tough, but now I have hand foot and mouth (courtesy of working with children). I didn't realise it hurt! Just finished a uke gig and hands and throat are sore. Could be worse as I thought I was having a major flare. Am meant to be reducing

Normal tests but rectal bleeding...?
I have had two colonoscopies, one in 2016 due to blood in stool (detected by a fecal occult blood test). My second one was in March 2017 because of pain and changes in bowel habits, and they just wanted to make sure nothing was missed. Everything was clear except for an internal hemorrhoid and they

12 - 18 months prognosis and 2nd opinion
I posted last week and thank you to every one for your replies about my prognosis been given to me at the QE in B'ham. I have a 2nd opinion at a different hospital and I have an e-mail from the Christie in Manchester. I would not be a candidate for cytoreductive surgery with hipec as it's a ewing sarcoma

Partner of kidney patient looking for support
My partner was diagnosed with kidney failure in June. He began hemodialysis right away and continues to do it three times per week. In October, he had the abdominal catheter added for home peritoneal dialysis and is currently being trained on how to do it. He will likely begin treatment at home next

Amitriptyline drops numb mouth?
I was just prescribed Amitriptyline in an oral liquid form. I was told to take three drops and I did so by placing them in a spoon and taking them that way. The taste was awful and instantly my mouth and throat went numb and dry. Is this normal?

Squatty potty/stool for hemorrhoid / anal fissure relief
There have been a few posts recently from people who find it really painful going to the loo 'cos of hemorrhoids or anal fissures. I thought I'd post some advice my GP gave me which has really helped me. My problems probably began when I was not drinking enough water. I did not feel thirsty so did not

PD Catheter
Hi, EGFR now dropped to 11, and PD catheter being fitted next week, followed by a Fistula soon after. Any advice on coping with Peritoneal Dialysis would be appreciated. Interested in whether I may feel 'healthier', or whether there is no real change.
