One for those who take warfarin
Evening All, Just a quickie, I recently treated an outbreak of athlete's foot with some Daktarin ointment which I bought over the counter. I did read the instructions found inside the box and learnt that cream as its an anti fungal can upset your INR. I self test and checked my INR a week after treatment

Was diagnosed with PACNS in 2015, biopsy proven, after several years of severe headaches, memory loss and fatigue, advised now in remission. Originally had Chemotherapy, steroid and Methotrexate, now only on the latter, but still experience symptoms. Would be interested to hear from anybody with Cerebral

I found this article on a click-bait type site, so I decided to share the image and the content, and a link (which you don't have to click) but to give credit to the author, but probably best not to click it. Anyways... I just loved the photo and the article and the great inspiration, and since summer

Constant strong taste of salt
Hi Is anyone experiencing a really bad, constant salty taste in their mouth? My googling is suggesting Sjögrens might be a possibility but I don’t really have a particularly dry mouth (or eyes) just a disgusting ongoing taste of salt. Thanks!

Mouth Thrush?
Hi New Friends, Has anyone experienced problems with mouth thrush before? I've had some weird rash for about 3 weeks that has gone undiagnosed despite 3 different doctor visits. I see my oncologist today for followup. If you've experienced this, how did you treat it? Thanks!

Advice, please, on stopping apixaban for dental work
About three years ago I had to have dental treatment (scaling and root planing) that can involve some bleeding. I tried to get advice on whether or not to discontinue my warfarin (and if so, when, and when to resume) and found myself in the middle of a sort of three person pass-the-parcel game. GP said

Systematic Review of Photobiomodulation for the Management of Oral Mucositis in Cancer Patients
Posted on MPN-MATE.COM» Wed Jul 10, 2019 3:42 am This is really an article that should be read by anyone that has ever suffered from Mouth Ulcers caused from chemotherapy, and the kind that often evolve after taking HU... This might well prove to be a new treatment for relief from HU non-melanoma skin

Still no endo found
Hello again ladies, I haven't been on here for a while. Had my 2nd lap 2 weeks ago where again no endometriosis was found. My uterus however was attached to my bowel and then it was all attached to my left side wall with adhesions. This has happened within a year so im not convinced that endo wasn't

Low Grade & Cyclophosphamide
Hello ladies. Had anyone with Low Grade Serous Ovarian Cancer had oral chemotherapy called “Cyclophosphamide”. It’s an old chemo drug that apparently works on slower growing cancer cells. My oncologist suggested it to me a while ago and said it had been trialed at some point in the past but not really

Has anyone tried quercetin?
If yes, did you notice any change in your endometriosis symptoms? I'm asking because I came across a mouse study that indicates it might be useful. Quercetin is an OTC supplement here in the US; people often take it for seasonal allergy relief. Here's the study abstract link: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov
