40 minutes, again...
Having not been out all week due to work pressure, up early this morning and on with the running gear to "get back in the horse" as my late father used to say. I have done a couple of 30 minute runs and a couple of 5k ones since graduating, but only one 40 minute run. This morning therefore I made the

PTSD?
Hello! I was not certain where I could go to ask this, so I’ve found myself here. I was hoping someone could give me some opinions/feedback. I hope this is alright. A few years ago, I suffered from an emotionally traumatic event. I experienced a range of side effects from it, that I didn’t really think

Anyone having blood pressure issues following IV Avastin injections?
Hi everyone; I hope all is well. I'm nearly six weeks post first intravitreal(IV) Avastin injection and ten days post second IV Avastin injection. My BP is pretty high(160/90's) and nothing else could explain it other than perhaps some chronic dehydration. I was mildly elevated at times(pre Avastin therapy

Ongoing Amnesia.
hello lovely people; so i’ve been out of hospital for 54 days (ICU free for 76 days after 6 weeks in a coma due to a suicide attempt), and i read that memory loss of the event that caused your ICU stay is normal...however, i’ve noticed that lots of my previous memories are now gone. i can’t remember

Lucentis injections
Hi everyone just had my 4th injection today and feeling really well after this latest one. Just a thought, as nearly always takes me a good 24 hours normally to feel brighter after them. Just wondering if this is due to build up, getting used to them or struck lucky with my injector today? Would love

Problems with taking blood thinners
I was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation about 3 weeks ago after over 3 years visiting endless doctors and specialists with a range of diagnoses. My specialist put me on Eliquis 2 weeks ago, but the side effects were horrendous. I had constant pain and aches throughout my body, especially in my shoulders

Curious of Other Peoples Experiences
I do not have Pre-MF, but my husband was recently diagnosed. He is only 51. We had no idea, but he lost a dramatic amount of weight and became quite fatigued. His spleen is at 32cm and causes him a lot of grief. I’m not sure of the grade of BMB, but will definitely ask! I’m trying to research and understand

Surgery Update
Had the surgery to remove the tumor from my mandible yesterday. The surgery went well and they got the tumor out without any collateral damage. It looks like it is a neurofibroma, but we will not be sure until the biopsy results are back. It is heavily calcified so it may take up to 10 days. When
