Just wondering how often do you self test, I have proven several times that if I had just weekly clinic blood tests my inr would be under range I test myself and send result the the anticoagulant clinic with a suggestion of what I thought would be the best dose for me, they didn’t take any notice, so

Hi, I'm new to this Mental Health Support forum
I'm relatively new to Health Unlocked, and I joined this forum now. I suffer from major depression, and anxiety, and today my therapist says I have some PTSD going on. He suggested EMDR. Has anyone had this type of therapy and did it help you? Thank you.

Last night in bed approaching sleep my left elbow shot out. In a crowded elevator it would have injured someone. I had no warning, didn't do anything different during the day. When it happened my only thought was, "WTF?" So my question now is, WTF? I've had left arm tremor for nearly 4 years

Hi I’m due to have my first treatment on the 28th Oct at Chapel Allerton Hospital in Leeds. My consultant has requested I have one 6 hr treatment a month which seems odd as reading posts on here everyone seems to have 3 -5 consecutive days. I’m also worried about not being able to nap as I can’t function

Interesting article: In-office gene therapy for wet age-related macular degeneration is coming
Gene therapy is showing promise for one of the most common causes of blindness. Data presented today shows that six patients with wet age-related macular degeneration (AMD) have, so far, gone at least six months without the need for continued injections to control a disease that typically requires treatment

Third Consolidation Run
Woke up with achy legs and somebody told me to take a couple of aspirin to deal with it and so I did. Amazing, no more achy legs. This was one of those days where my head could easily have sabotaged me but my music and mental strength pulled me through. First 5 minutes felt tough today. Up to 10 minutes

Can you get impacted again even when on a movicol maintenance dose?
My daughter has been suffering from constipation for a year. In May we went through our third disimpaction routine. As part of it we kept her on a very high dose of movicol as well as Senna for a month. Then slowly slowly we brought it down to 4 sachets daily. In the last week or so, she’s been unable

Toilet training resources
Hi there, we recently toilet trained my son (he was 3 at the time but has just turned 4) but he is still struggling with doing a poo on the toilet. He has managed to do this twice but has had many accidents. When it’s obvious he needs to go you can almost see a look of panic come over him and he’ll disappear

The question I am asking is my mother had a text from the doctors yesterday saying that this drug is well known for causing stomach bleeds and wants her to go on another medication to combat this(Omeprazole) Has anyone else been told this as my mum has been on this drug

Ridiculous PTSD
Hey... I'm really struggling right now, I'm dealing with bad PTSD flashbacks from a terrible assault two months ago that left me physically and mentally not so well. I really need to talk it out somehow, because I can't move forward. I'm scared to leave my house, hell, I'm scared to leave my bed. I'm

New Here and looking to discuss Long Term PTSD
I am obviously new to this forum and would like to connect with others, especially women, who have been living with and have been treated for PTSD and depression. I won't go into my whole sordid story, but it involves early childhood trauma, alcoholism, sexual and physical abuse, a lifetime of bad relationships

Hi! I'm new here : )
I have depression/anxiety/ptsd and curious how others deal with their daily struggles. Life itself is a struggle right now for me as I'm sure it is for others. Right now my new saying is "each minute is a new one" that's the only thing that gets me by at the moment.
