Dogs available maybe therapy companions to adopt for those with depression anxiety and ptsd??

Does anyone on here know if there are any organizations or groups or places in U.S that have therapy type dogs available to adopt as healing loving companions for ppl with severe depression or anxiety or ptsd and such??? Or anything along these lines?? any info on this ?? would be greatly appreciated thank you!!

If you Google search Therapy Dogs, lots of sites come up. Many refer to Dogs whose owners take them into hospitals and care / nursing homes. So you will have to sift through.

I think you have to find a dog, but if you read through the website article there's a lot of info & advice on there. It goes into how to register and the requirements and benefits of registering your Therapy/ Assistance Dog.

I believe any dog can lift depression. Unconditional love is key. Some are specifically trained for this and they are wonderful.

I'm my eyes and my experience any dog will bring great joy and happiness to your life.
