Apixaban rash
Diagnosed with DVT 4 weeks ago and prescribed Apixaban for life. This is my 3rd DVT. No problems for weeks and then a rash, very itchy, has developed on upper chest and top of arms. Occasional clusters elsewhere too. Just looking for general comments please before seeking potential switch to warfarin

Hopelessness
I've been diagnosed officially with PTSD this week which is not a shock. I begin EMDR sessions next week so hope those are able to help. I have these bouts of feeling hopeless. I'm trying not to go too hard on myself but just feel that things will never get easier. Cry myself to sleep most nights with

Taking K2 MK7
Iāve heard that taking K2 MK7 is good for your bones, but am not sure if itās safe to take with Xarelto. Apparently it cannot be taken if prescribed to Warfarin but itās unclear as to whether or not itās safe with other anticoagulants. Can anyone clarify this for me?

Dentistry.
I have PMR and have also been treated for Acoustic Neuroma by Gamma Knife surgery. The Acoustic Neuroma is no longer active but damage remains. I presently take 10mgm Prednisone daily in one dose. I need several dental extractions on the same side (upper jaw). Should I expect my dentist to refer me to

Eliquis and surgery
I will have to go off my Eliquis for several days prior to having surgery on one of my eyes. I am terrified that I may go into AF while off it. Has anyone had to go off their anticoagulant for surgery and had AF without it causing a stroke?

adrenal crisis?
i have been on pred for almost 3 years trying to wean myself off. i never seem to get below 8mgs until the symptoms return. i found that having half my dosage early in the morning really helped so thanks for that advice. i now have managed to reduce to 6mgs. and was beginning to congratulate myself.

Medicinal cannabis?
As well as PBC I have fibromyalgia and complex PTSD. Iāve also been experiencing some major and unusual anxiety and depression in perimenopause, different from prior experiences of anxiety and depression. I saw a new GP today and he was suggesting medicinal cannabis which has been found to help many

Pradaxa. Benefits and problems
Been on Pradaxa since 2016. Seems to do the job, but having started on 150mg found that bleeding from the anus was very unpleasant. The doctor reduced the dose to 110mg and that solved the problem. Taking the tablet gave me a lot of wind, but drinking plenty of water solved that. Pradaxa terrifies dentists
