foslevadopa/foscarbidopa by sibcontaneous infusion
I can only say that Levadopa is more efficient at achieving symptom relief than the agonists? Presumably that advantage would be felt with the pumps.
the subQ infusion has steadier release and less fluctuations, more on time and less freezing.
Hi Rosie,
My friend is under an apomorphine pump. He should get the foslevidopa Within a few months so I’ll be able to tell you more about it later on.
The idea coming from a tablet treatment is to regulate the flow of the drug without having to cross the digestion barrier in the bowels. As a matter of fact, any proteins there counteract the absorption.
Kindly yours,
Natajo
