COVID-19 treatment options for those taking Warfarin
Hello. I have not contracted COVID-19, but most others I know have had it, and many treat successfully with Paxlovid. I learned recently that Paxlovid interacts with Warfarin in that it suppresses the body's ability to metabolize the Warfarin, thereby possibly causing increased INR while taking COVID

The NMN-SARM1 Contradiction
Sterile alpha (SAM) and Toll/interleukin-1 receptor (TIR) motif containing 1 (SARM1) is an autoinhibitory NAD-consuming enzyme that is activated by the accumulation of nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN) during axonal injury. Its activation mechanism is not fully understood. 1 Axon degeneration contributes

Why you should NOT supplement high-dose D3
https://youtu.be/GsomcvdT7Po This random video I came across deserves more views. If you're baffled about how to get enough vitamin D when not exposed to regular sunlight, try supplementing raw cold-pressed cod liver oil instead along with vitamin K. https://www.westonaprice.org/health-topics/cod-liver-oil

The Correct Curcumin for Used in "The Effect of Curcumin on Idiopathic Parkinson Disease: A Clinical and Skin Biopsy Study"
So I posted about this remarkable preliminary study that seems to show 1 gram of curcumin twice a day for a year actually improves motor and non-motor symptoms AND reduces the A-Syn detected in the skin. That seems pretty amazing (but it was a small study): The Effect of Curcumin on Idiopathic Parkinson

Has Anyone Else Had This Happen Also?
I noticed that when I get really anxious because of my PTSD/Anxiety, that sometimes I have a hard time eating food. I was wondering if anyone else has had that happen as well? I tend to get it more when I eat out since that's when I'm the most anxious, but I do get it at home as well but I'd say its

Hey all I've been referred by my GP to Leeds teaching hospital for my high triglycerides. They can't see what my hdl v ldl is at moment cos of this. Issue is I've done the blood tests at my GP and at the hospital and they keep going missing. So I've gone private through insurance but then I'm worried

AMA positive with itchy skin
Not gonna lie, my head is still spinning since being AMA positive. I’ve recently had a fibro scan with score 4.7 which I believe is a good result. Of course with the help of Dr Google I’ve read some positive info about being diagnosed early. However, I’ve also found some articles where if diagnosed

Advice and Thoughts Please
I was diagnosed with Af in May of this year and prescribed Flecainide, 1 tablet at night plus Rivaroxaban (although I had been on this since 2017). I saw consultant at end of September and having had no episodes since March, he was happy to leave things as they were with a 2 Flecainide dose as a pip

So after suffering from breathlessness for 3 years or more and being told by lung consultant that it was due to putting on a bit of weight I paid privately to see a cardiologist!!! He looked at my notes from the lung specialists and saw that they’d fine Ct scans with & without contrast and that nothing

update on hatten28
at last saw a cardiologist today and after some consultation and noting the results of the echocardiogram and cat scan, she explained that the aortic stenosis is moderate to severe and wants to clarify it more clearly, also have an aneurysm measuring 4.8, usually operated on at 5.5. Ginseng and daytime brain fog (aka sleepiness) for those on Lupron + Abi + Prednisone
For some months getting gradually worse I've been having intense sleepiness when sitting and trying to read, watch TV, etc. What is the community's experience with Korean Panax Ginseng? It is working well for me today (the first day I started taking it.) Thanks

Good morning everyone. I saw my cardiologist yesterday as I’m having a new knee next week and for my own peace of mind had an echocardiogram which shows my heart is now as it was before AF and high blood pressure were found 3 years ago. She said this showed my blood pressure tablets and healthier lifestyle
