Iron testing - results O.K.?
Just had my iron retested, having done it incorrectly the first time. This time, I stopped taking iron 48 hrs. before and fasted after midnight. I think the results look as though iron's not my problem. Can some more knowledgeable member let me know if that appears to be correct? Thanks! Results

could someone help interpret iron panel labs please
I’m a 66yr old male and about 4 years ago I was feeling tired and lethargic so my wife suggested a thyroid function test. The labs showed that my thyroid gland was indeed beginning to struggle and that my WBCs were showing some anomalies. I was subsequently diagnosed with CLL but since then my thyroid

Some help with interpreting iron panel please.
My mum is supplementing with iron. Crp hs 0.48 (0-5) Iron 29,9 (5.8-34.5) Tibc 62.7 (45-81) Uibc 30.9 (24.2-70.1) Transferrin 47.5 (20-50) Ferritin 298.6 (13-150) It looks as though she should’ve stopped a while back. Any insight with what these numbers are now saying and mean would be helpful

Hi, I hope everyone is ok ❤️ I had a complete hysterectomy 10 weeks ago due to severe endometriosis, ovarian cysts, adenomyosis and other things. Finally, Total Hysterectomy, BOS, Excision Endometriosis & possible resection of bowel. Advice, Support or Guidance appreciated :)
After an extremely long wait 20 years and a little bit, I’m hopefully going to have a little bit of relief. I’ve suffered since I was 8 years old, after an attack as a young girl I was told my fertility was in question and a now or never was implied at 15. Since they discovered my large endometrioma

Bleeding after Hysterectomy
Has anyone else experienced bleeding 3 weeks post op after total Hysterectomy? It started the day after the op as heavy as a normal period but hasn't stopped. I've been to the hospital and they have said it's probably a haematoma draining and they have given me antibiotics even though my bloods show

Neutropenia and its effects.....
I was diagnosed with lupus by my rheumatologist in 2020. Since 2016 I have had low iron levels on numerous occasions, which was initially treated with oral iron with little effect. I was eventually given an iron infusion in May 2021. This brought my iron levels up for some time, but in April this

Seeing endo on Monday – question about low TSH/hypothyroidism
Hi all, I’m still working to get an official diagnosis for the complicated mess of adrenal/thyroid/pituitary conditions I’ve been experiencing for the past few years and have a much-awaited appt with my endo on Monday. I get super nervous before any appts for fear of not communicating clearly enough

Dear Lovelies, I have now developed severe low haemoglobin twice in the 4 months I have been on olaparib- four blood transfusions in total and am off olaparib for the second time. Spreading Cancer (Or Just Waking It Up)
If you look at any collection of "common myths about cancer", you will probably find reassurances about the idea that having cancer surgery might cause the cancer to spread to other parts of the body. I remember coming across this one some years ago being surprised - I'd never heard that one myself,

Induced chemical menopause
Hi ladies, my consultant is offering me to be put into a chemical induced menopause, via injections to shut down my ovaries for 6 months to see how I feel, then perhaps the possibility of a total hysterectomy including removal of the ovaries. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm very anxious to have
