Time between pre op and hysterectomy

So, I've to get my pre op on Tuesday, just wandering how long to wait after for total hysterectomy op?

I had my first preop in sept. Due to have surgery in two weeks - if it goes ahead!

I had my pre opnand they have said it lasts 6 months!! So hoping I get my op in that time. X
