Advice on blood results and supplementation
Hi Everyone, I wonder if anyone out there can take a look at my blood results over the last year or so and comment on any issues? I am currently taking 175mg of Levothyroxine which has been stable for the last few years (first diagnosed as hypo in 2003 and haven’t felt 100% since!). unfortunately

Bloods update
Hi all, Back with an update. I was diagnosed 5 months ago with NASH and F2 fibrosis (fibroscan and biopsy proven). Since then I've big time changed my diet and I've managed to lose over a stone (was hoping for more but it's a journey). My latest bloods show: Serum Total proten 77g/L (previously

my partner recently went through transplant assessment and they flagged high ferritin with high transferrin saturation (not actually sure what this last bit means) and they are requesting a HFE screen. Does anyone have very high iron levels (he is over twice the top end of normal) with no other underlying

I've just looked online at my latest test results and the top box from my surgery says 'Result -

Bone Scan advice
Hello all, just a quick query . I've been on pred since the beginning of March , currently 12.5mg. I'm on Alendronic Acid too. I have been on Letrozole since my Mastectomy in June 2019. I had a bone scan then which is standard when starting something like Letrozole as it increases osteoporosis risk.

Off Baricitinib and knee replacement
Hi I'm feeling tearful. I've been off Baricitinib for one week yesterday as I'm having a total knee replacement next Wednesday 13th (I had my left knee and hip replaced in 2018 before being diagnosed) and had to use walking sticks since. Already my feet and ankles are swollen and it's painful to

NSAIDS anyone ?
When I was diagnosed with RA in 1989 , along with other medication , I was given diclofenac as a NSAID . This was later changed to Meloxicam by my rheumatologist . Which I took daily until this year . Fast forward to May 2021 and I tripped on a step in the house and fell heavily onto my left hip

interpreting my blood test results
Hello again I posted here about a month ago, and received really useful information about what blood tests for hypothyroidism should reveal. I have now had the results of the tests, which are quite lengthy, but do not seem to have any information on T3 and T4 levels. Please could some wise person comment

Medichecks Result and a warning about testing & HRT
Apologies for the long post (my first) and thank you if you manage to get to the end of it. Bit of history first (there's more in my bio), after 7 years of being bedbound with a diagnosis of fibromyalgia, I was finally prescribed combination T3/T4 in 2018. I hadn't had my bloods checked since 2019
