Can anyone give an idea of what could be causing the following please? Taking estrogen patches - had a total hysterectomy - became even more ill with all sorts of symptoms that pointed to low estrogen. Patches are the solution, terrific, help in many ways, feel better than have for many years. But

Thyroid or Pituitary Problem?
Sorry in advance for the long essay! Desperatly hoping for some advice. I am a 30-year-old female suffering fatigue, brain fog & migraine with visual disturbances since July 2020, therefore I stopped the COCP after a 10-year use (which was prescribed for the management of menorrhagia). Since stopping

Question please?
I am taking estrogen and it is helping me a great deal. I now realise I should have been taking it for the past twenty years or so, oh well. Better late than never. They gave me a total hysterectomy a while back so now have no ovaries at all. They said I had endeomestris. I know I have polyps/fibroids

Get to the route cause
Hi. I am not needing advice but I hope my post can help at least one person. Ive had "asthma" supposedly for years, and am a lady of 65. My doctors always talked as if it is normal to suddenly get asthma, for no apparent reason, and live with it forever. I also have small lungs where I am not able to

Anyone BRCA opted for an elective mastectomy?
I have the dreaded appointment to discuss a potential double mastectomy on Thursday. (I'm BRCA2 and just reached 5 years with no recurrence so far.) I'm having a massive wobble I think caused by a c*ckup that now means any private medical recourse to PARP inhibitors is gone forever - A different story

Heavy feeling after radical hysterectomy
I had a total hysterectomy four weeks ago and my vagina now feels heavy. Dragging feeling. I’m worried it has prolapsed. Or is it too soon to tell. Does recovery and scar tissue feel heavy? Should I be worried. My follow up appointment isn’t for another three weeks. Has my vagina fallen? How do I

Recurrent DCIS
Hi all I had a lumpectomy and radiotherapy about eight years ago to deal with ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) it has now recurred, what an absolute pain. I’ve had a mammogram and ultrasound and the radiologist thinks I will need surgery. I won’t know for sure until next Wednesday. But in my experience

Have the symptoms, shame the doctor didnt want to know.
So all of my teen life I have suffered with heavy, painful periods. I was always told this was normal and has no reason to think otherwise. As a teen I didn't live with my mum so I would go to the doctors and complain and was fobbed off each time so I just plodded along. I fell pregnant at the age of
