Testosterone post ADT
My t level is coming back very slowly following salvage radiation + 6 months ADT. I’m 60 years old and after nearly 18 months still have difficulty gaining muscle mass and losing this gut. The good news is my PSA is still undetectable. Any suggestions?

All these are listed as becoming worse if these are taken 🤦🏻♀️ I’m 41 and typically have low egg quality, I’ve been put on
testosterone
which seemed to help in the past. Not sure what the aim of this is has it hasn’t been discussed.

Has anyone tried testosterone ?
I read somewhere that
testosterone
was helpful in dealing with the disease. Has anyone tried this? I am a woman and I remember
testosterone
was helpful during menopause. I just rubbed it on my belly. I'm now 74 and wondering if I should use it to relieve symptoms of Fibro.

After BCR and PSA Return: An Update on My Treatment Path
The good news: as of now, I've been off all treatments since April, and my
testosterone
levels (T) have returned to normal. More than that, I'm feeling really good, both physically and emotionally. Even better, my latest PSA tests keep coming back at <.01, which is a fantastic result.

Things that made a difference...
My
testosterone
went through the roof, but doctor said "that's what happens". And my eggs were much better quality too. 5. Prednisolone. I did IVIG too. Not sure if it helped, but prednisone certainly muted my immune response and resulted in implantation. 6.

Estradiol levels high? and progesterone help!
I have private blood tests for the other conditions, so out of interest more than anything had Oestradiol and
testosterone
tests bolted on. The
testosterone
came back ok I think, 1.29 nmol/l 0.29-1.67, free
testosterone
0.012 nmol/l 0-0.13.

Thoughts on ADT with sRT?
It seems like the answer to this could be teased out of existing data if we excluded the guys who never got their
testosterone
back from the data. What do y'all think?

Yes, OK living with 0.6-0.8
testosterone
for months now isn’t fun - and I can’t exercise. And managing my mood and anxiety can be problematic but the positive is a PSA of 0.01 for many months which I’m keen to exploit and I had in mind at least 18 months was worth a try.

Sperm count and ED
I have had my
testosterone
levels checked and have been told by my GP that they are within average range for my age (59). Is this a sign of my liver deteriorating further (have read this may be linked on google)? Anyone had this experience and know if there a treatment for this?

Irrational emotional mood swings on ADT
I did not equate it then with my total lack of
Testosterone
but after seeing some discussions on this board I realized that it was my female side in full bloom. Thankfully Coco is very understanding of my situation as we have very open and honest communication.

Casodex after castration resistance?
His
testosterone
level also rose from 0.6 to 1.2. The doctor recommended to add Casodex. After a month, in April his PSA was 0.024 and
testosterone
was 0.9. I have two questions: 1) How relevant is using Casodex at this stage?

Supraphysiological Androgens [SPA] Promote Tumor Suppressive Activity of the AR Through cMYC Repression and Recruitment of the DREAM Complex
I have struggled to understand how Denmeade’s BAT (Bipolar Androgen Therapy) depends on supraphysiological levels of androgen (
testosterone
= ~2,000 ng/dL), considering that Morgentaler’s saturation model has it that androgen receptors [ARs] have all the
testosterone
they can use at fairly low physiological

Laboratory test variance or ?
5 weeks ago I had asked my own physician for a 3 month post radiotherapy PSA and
Testosterone
done - the PSA was 0.01 and the
Testosterone
was 0.6nmol/L (17.3ng/dL) - which I felt happy with and seemed good.
