I feel like my body is betraying me
And now I've just had to abandon my first run of week 5 half way through, due to pain in my heel which I fear might be Achilles
tendonitis
. The thing is, I don't understand why this is happening.

Tendonitis after post pacemaker Flucloxacillin.
I was given a five day course of Flucloxacillin not realising it is one of the fluoroquinolones group that once caused me to have severe
tendonitis
but not a ruptured tendon as many do.

still feeling the pain
Two weeks ago started a running course and c25k is recommended to follow between sessions. Missed last week as in Switzerland, no running but a lot of challenging hikes. Back to course last night and alothough the distance and pace were managable, am still getting pain in calf muscles. Last week, was

Loss of interest in food?
Hi all I seem to have no interest in food. Been on methotrexate coming up for a year and although I'm roughly the same weight I just can't get interested in food in general? I cook for my family but I'd rather have a bowl of cereal or some toast, is this normal? I love food but I'm not interested in

Damned UCTD
I have awful chest wall pain and muscle spasms in my side and frequent bouts of
tendonitis
, I have mild hypermobility. Right now I have a Sjorgens thing going on, blisters up my nose and in my mouth, my teeth are becoming loose as the connective tissue becomes dodgy.

There is a light at the end of the tunnel! Yeeh!
The cortisone has sufficiently masked bursitis &
tendonitis
to enable me to distinguish PMR pain as a separate entity, making reduction less guess work and more science! I think having a young new consultant with him seems to have done wonders to his morale!

Knee pain
I suffer from anterior knee pain. I've been examined by an NHS podiatrist who diagnosed underpronation due to high arches. I use orthoses to straighten up my legs, and I've got them in my trainers. But today after W1R2 my knee is so inflamed that I can't manage stairs. I will not give up but any help

Made it back to week 3
After a fall and then a case of
tendonitis
in Week 3 originally leaving me unable to walk, then 4 weeks of rest and anti inflammatory drugs... I had to go back to week one. Well I did my W3R1 this morning with no ill effects.

500 miles for my 50th - long overdue update
Finally, I have clocked 250 miles. I have been sidelined due to a hamstring injury which put a stop to any activity for around 12 weeks. Thought it had improved so tried a few runs at the end of May, but found myself back on the injury couch which was a real pain (literally!) Anyway I have been following

Ouch! :( w7r1
Finished w7r1 today. I've really struggled with the last two 25 min runs! I feel like I've become fit enough to run for that long, but I feel like my body just can't keep up! Had some really bad pain in my knee, ankles and in the arches of my feet... Could all of this be down to wearing the wrong shoes

New Shoes on
Since injury with post tibial
tendonitis
I was informed I have a slight overpronation (which self corrects) but would benefit from more support in my shoes. Here they are. I went for 1/2 a size up as recommended where I've normally gone a whole size up.

Ankle peroneal Tendonitis
Has anyone had difficulty with
tendonitis
? I developed peroneal ankle
tendonitis
just after bilateral pulmonary embolisms. My activity level was very limited with balance my PT goals.

Update on hospital appointment
The tendon is thickening and has no more room to move, there is degeneration of the rotator cuff and definite sign of debris and (synovitis /
tendonitis
) - inflammation causing further pain in the joint.

The couch has reclaimed me!
Having completed week 1 and 2 fairly well, the wretched couch has forced me to sit back on it! Just before W2R3 I bashed my ankle on the couch itself but went on the run because it didn't really hurt.when I returned it was painful along with stiff knees. Stiff knees are now un -stiffening but my ankle

W5r3, w6r3 and what to do next?
Hey all! I honestly thought this was my first post, but I've looked back at the first time I started the C25k two years ago and can see I was posting quite a bit. I can't believe how popular my 'Running: not enough camaraderie?' post was, and if you haven't seen it please have a quick read and tell

Room for a small one on the IC?
I've had to give in temporarily to the injury couch. An old injury has flared up bigtime (torn shoulder tendon) and my lovely NHS physio said (despite my pleading puppy dog eyes) that it would be best not to do anything that jolts the shoulder (and that includes running, despite my following Laura's
