Tall Allen ?
I read in 1 of your previous posts that you were prescribed a sleep aid. If you would be so kind, I’d love to know what it is and whether or not there are any negatives/contraindications to it. Btw, I greatly value your contributions to this forum.

New here so forgive me if I post in the wrong place! I was recently diagnosed with severe osteporosis out of the blue after fracturing my L2 whilst stood at the kitchen sink washing up. A dexa scan show T scores of -2.7 in hips and -4.8 in spine. I have started on Alendronic Acid two weeks ago. After

Hi, I'm new here after discovering I had a tight stenosis of my LAD artery last month. A big shock at 46. I had a stent inserted on 26/10/21 and am now on aspirin for life and Clopidogrel for 6 months. My last period was awful - on day 2, I leaked through super plus tampons and a sanitary towel plus

W6R1: a fantastic enjoyable run 🏃♀️.
On Saturday I completed week 5, the longer run of 20 minutes & I really enjoyed it. I posted about it & then I was advised by many to be aware that week 6 catches some people out. So I went into it with some trepidation & wonder. It involves 5 minute & 8 minute runs with the brisk walks in between.

I've been having these every day, I'm really dizzy and out of it and it feels like I'm flashing around from moment to moment. I have bad derealization. It seems like nothing helps me when I'm like this. It's really so scary, it feels like dying and going crazy and completely losing control all at the

When to take Thyroxine advice please
Hi everyone, I’ve been taking my thyroxine (100/125), with all my morning meds + tiny bit of food, followed by breakfast 60-90 minutes later for 10 years and my endo says this is fine. I can’t say I’ve ever felt the thyroxine’s made any difference, and lately other major health problems have begun

Recommendation?
Lexapro or Buspar? Part of my anxiety is medicine and side effects so it’s important to me to make the right choice. My anxiety has always been manageable but recently I’ve gotten myself into a never ending spiral of anxiety and panic for about a week now and the doctor suggests lexapro but I’ve read

What meds do you take for bipolar disorder?
No need to list exact dosages, I'm just trying to get a feeling for what's being tried. I've recently switched from lamotrigine and ziparasidone (started causing tardive dyskinesia) to valproex acid, Latuda, and Concerta (a stimulant). But now I feel nauseated all the time and have lost my optimism,

Pill and treatment Endo?
Hi all, hoping for some advice. I was diagnosed with Endo in Jan 19 after having a large cyst removal, which resulted in my ovary and tube also being removed (left side). I was discharged from Gynae care after being given the pill. I stopped taking the pill and tried to carry on as normal (due to continuous

Omeprazole
Omeprazole has been added to my prescription - so far I haven't taken it as I'd rather take as few medications as possible. It seems to be recommended with steroids and alendronic acid - is it necessary? I have been encouraged to take AA due to osteopenia but, again, not entirely sure if I need it.

I already take Lamotrigine as a mood stabilizer. I've been on that for 15 yrs. I also take levothyroxine, atorvastatin, and alprazolam. I've been on just about every antidepressant. Dr said is not a surprise I have bipolar and not mdd. They should have ruled that when I didn't respond to anti depressant

Carry on Cardio!
Hi folks Trying to figure out what is going on with my blood pressure. A month ago I had a fainting episode as reported on here, checked BP few hours later and was low (87/50) and was advised by GP to drop half my Losartan dose. Monitoring BP as requested,it seemed to go up steadily and settle. I noted
