Yes - an eye opener and the first thing I did was to check my cod liver oil source - says North Atlantic thankfully.

The utter lunacy of transporting an edible substance from Peru to China for processing and then to Europe and the US for packaging beggars belief. Of course, I suppose the brands referred to in the article will proudly boast 'Packed in the UK' or 'Packaged in the US' to hide the truth.

I stopped taking fish oil when I found out your body has no mechanism for getting rid of excess vitamin A. So as you get older you have a huge vitamin A excess in your body.

And studies have repeatedly shown that it is better to get vitamins through foods rather than from supplements.
