Gum disease
I've been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis since the beginning of 2023, but I've had symptoms for probably a year or more before that. Only been taking methotrexate for 5 months. The last couple of visits to my dental hygienist have not been good at all. I'm being told I have gum disease with periodontal

some advice
swelling in the collarbone I have some swelling in my collarbone which could be linked to rheumatoid arthritis . Is there a link between PMR and rheumatoid arthritis? Can the first lead to the other ? Sorry if I sound so ignorant . This is a new development for me after 3 years of PMR

My fibromyalgia
I have suffered with dizziness, arthritis and joint pain for over 10 years. I have only just been referred to the local fibromyalgia hub to see if they can help with the pain. Amitryiptaline does not seem to help.

No sure why I get these posts
I don't now if it is a new system, but latterly I have been getting posts about Arthritis among the AF posts. I fortunately do not have Arthritis, have never posted about it, so am wondering all the other AF members are getting these posts.?

Recent diagnosis of Fibromyalgia
I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis in 2021 after nearly two years of pain initially in my left wrist and then progressing to both hands and feet. I’m on so many medications and am awaiting the start of my second biologic as Imraldi only helped for 5 months. I’m wondering if anyone else has both

Mid 50s. Enjoy tennis, cold water swimming and cycling. Diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my left hip 9 months ago, but X-ray was normal and my symptoms were less typical (pain down outer side of thigh and shin; none in hip). More recently diagnosed with GTPS in my right hip (very sore around my hip

Just diagnosed
Hi all. I have just been diagnosed with fibromyalgia along with Tendinopathy(bit like tendonitis) having previously been suspected to have Rheumatoid Arthritis. This new diagnosis makes more sense. Would the Fibromyalgia have come on recently, or could I have had it for years and not realised? I've always

confused diagnosis
I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in 2019 by a Reumotologist whom during my appointment when through in detail with the symptoms and suggested treatments medically and non medical. But in 2023 I saw another Reumotologist who told me that it wasn’t fibromyalgia but low grade Rheumatoid arthritis because

good morning
I am currently being treated for latent TB with Rifampin and on prednisone 6mg. I was doing so so well before this new med and it seems rifampin decreases the effects of prednisone which I’ve noticed so much lately! Ugh! I feel as if I’m back to square 1 with the PMR. Is anyone aware of how much I
