I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis in 2021 after nearly two years of pain initially in my left wrist and then progressing to both hands and feet.
I’m on so many medications and am awaiting the start of my second biologic as Imraldi only helped for 5 months.
I’m wondering if anyone else has both these diagnoses?
How do you manage them and what’s the best treatment for Fibromyalgia?

They are common commorbiditues. I’ve not been offered any treatment for Fibro. Good luck with new drug. A good systemic control of RA through drugs is the best control for that.
I have many autoimmune with RA being the main one with Raynauds/Sojourns/Diabetes but then was told I the had Fibro which does not come under autoimmune by NICE guidelines. My GP has put me on pregabalin to aid sleep but many on here take Amitriptyline. Its about finding one that assists the fibro. Many of us also find fibro kicks in with weather ie humidity rain and wind which seems to make it worse.
There are some very good books out there on trigger points to help assist pain days but its a hard one to sort as very different to RA as muscular from head to toes and random.
I have both. Was diagnosed in 2014 and RA in December last year. It’s no fun having both! I have been on Amiltryptaline for quite a while and it really helps with sleep. Im also on gabapentin for fibromyalgia and nerve issues. I hope you are able to get the right treatment that helps 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
unfortunately I have both plus one too other AIs. When one kicks off the others joint in and who knows which is which.weather plays a big part especially Fibro which really is sensitive.RA hates humidity. I’m best when the weather is crisp and cold .
