3-1/2 weeks post ablation...progress at last
IMPORTANT NOTE: I did not have
tachycardia
type of AF. A good stretch of NSR would be 7 days and I only got stretches like that 3-4 times in a year and generally after being at the beach for a couple of weeks or so. (retired).

Waiting for Endo appointment - in the meantime?
I am having what I would have said is a POTS flare - woke up bolt upright in bed last night with funny beats and
tachycardia
which I used to get all the time when I was first diagnosed with POTS but haven’t had in about 18 months - I’m starting to think maybe some of my POTS symptoms in the past could

New Drug Regime
My EP said today that we need to take an aggressive approach to get my AF/
tachycardia
under control. I was very nervous when he mentioned Amiodarone as I have read so many horror stories about it but he said he will only keep me on it for a couple of months.

Help with Vit D3 side effects
I have a sensation of
tachycardia
, but checked my heart rate and it's not high, it's always between 70-80 bpm. So it's more like palpitations and a sensation of being short of breath, plus I have abdominal pain of the left side.

Dumped my GP today
Now, she did not take my vitals (to watch for raised blood pressure or
tachycardia
), check for fever (signs of infection) or give me a physical exam to check for stomach guarding (an indication that an ulcer might have perforated) or to check for tenderness, rebound tenderness or anything else.

Need advice, PV symptoms?
(Postural Orthostatic
Tachycardia
Syndrome) Then last December I wake up with pelvic pain and discomfort under left rib. I’m wrongly diagnosed with kidney stone. Still not feeling well in February so I have a CT scan which showed multiple ovarian cysts and a ruptured breast implant.

Random tachycardia
For the last 3 days I have had either
tachycardia
(100-120 BPM) with or without AF for the last 12 hours it has just been the
tachycardia
. Any suggestion on how I can return to normal rate? Can anyone tell me if they have had a similar experience and what the outcome has been?

Time to come clean.
Many of you regulars will know that since my last ablation in 2008 I have been free of AF although I have had some other arrhythmias, mainly ectopics and two periods of atrial
tachycardia
. I know that I have represented a beacon of hope for many.

Interpreting thyroid results, should I take T3?
I also have mast cell activation disorder and POTS (postural orthostatic
tachycardia
syndrome), so it's hard to tell what symptoms are related to my thyroid and which symptoms are related to the other disorders, such as the breathing issue. Thank you in advance for any insight you may have!

Bisoprolol and air hunger?
I have sinus
tachycardia
and PVCs.. my main issue is waking up every morning with a HR of about 130-170 bpm. Upping carvedilol and metoprolol didn’t help, it only made me dizzy.

Ectopics
A recent cardiologist I’ve seen has diagnosed it a POTS (Postural Orthostatic
Tachycardia
Syndrome), I’m just waiting on the final tilt test to 100% confirm this. Personally, I keep feeling the doctors are missing something and that one day, my heart will just stop.

Waking up with extremely high HR
I’ve been seen by a cardiologist and a EP specialist and my monitors have come back fine just some
tachycardia
and a few PVCs. I DONT FEEL FINE. I miss the days where I could wake up and feel normal and ready to start the day, not in complete terror of dropping dead!
