NT Pro BNP increase in atrial flutter/fibrillation
Hi Last week when I was at emergency for
tachycardia
and atrial flutter, they did a Brain NT Pro BNP test. My value was 540. I didn’t even know about this test after I was discharged.

Change in arrhythmia
Has anyone had experience of having pacemaker fitted for one arrhythmia (bradycardia, heart block) and then after fitted start to get a different arrhythmia (
tachycardia
)? Just trying to find out if this is normal and PM settings need adjusted or unusual to be happening.

Tachycardia Post Ablation
However the last 3 weeks I've had multiple periods of
tachycardia
. No AF or flutters but in an instant my HR would jump from 90 to 120 and stay at 120 for anywhere from 1-4 days (2x has lasted 4 days then just "flips" back to 90).

Advice please on Medicheck results please
I am on beta blockers for
tachycardia
probably caused by T3. I am starting to feel very tired probably with the reduced T3. Should I think of increasing T4? I'm concerned about the high CRP however I was getting over a very bad cold at the time of venepuncture. The high antibodies are new!.

IRON INFUSION
I have been asking for iron infusion for past 2 years as I have been feeling so very ill, so weak, dizzy, breathless,
tachycardia
then feeling heart is slowing down too much, lose of hair, exhaustion, etc... but 2 haematologists refused, instead tried to get me off the B12 injections.

Causes and Symptoms, Stress and Cures
The pounding in my chest, the
tachycardia
, shortness of breath, the weakness, the irregularity, the confusion of why this is happening to an otherwise healthy person. An avid bike rider I’ve learned AF is common in athletes. Why? The heart is stressed.

May 10, 1919. THE HOSPITAL 125 MINOR THYROID INSUFFICIENCY
.* The
tachycardia
and palpitation which often follow 'act as warnings that the dose must only be increased with caution, but are not signs of hyperthyroidism. The heart muscle is impaired in vitality and shares the general myx- oedematous infiltration.

Not sure if it’s just a
tachycardia
episode or AFib. I feel anxious I must say. What else can be thrown at me? 🙄🙄

Propafenone triggering Atrial flutter and SVT
Hi All, I had a second ablation for persistent high load (18,000/ day) PVC's and non-sustained ventricular
tachycardia
, unfortunately after 3 months they reappeared in similar numbers. I was put on Propafenone (150x3 mg times a day) and then increased morning and evening doses to 225 mg.

Swollen heavy leg with muscle pain
My angiogram was brilliant by the way but I'm to stay on beta blockers for
tachycardia
and stop the aspirin I'd been in for a month cos I don't need that.

Does it make a difference to you whether you take Biso in the morning or before bed?
I get symptoms now and then - every couple of weeks I`ll have a short blast of
tachycardia
that rights itself quickly. This past week, I`ve had short runs if
tachycardia
and what I think are palpitations or PVS or PACs (the feeling of a quick `drop` in your heart) almost daily.

Six-month checkup with EP
When I told him I have been having little runs of
tachycardia
with exercise, he decided to keep me on sotalol for at least another 6 months. I'm a little disappointed with that decision. But overall a good visit.

Lab results - PA?
I went to the doctor and EKG came back okay, just
tachycardia
(elevated heart rate) and blood work was ordered. Within two hours my Dr called and mentioned possible blood transfusions. Additional tests were ordered and below are the results.

Joining the ICD club
I had a few runs of ventricular
tachycardia
(non-sustained) and managed to capture one on my Alivecor Kardia (worth the expense for just that ecg). I'm now sat in Barts waiting to know whether it's just a subcutaneous ICD or one with wires into the heart so they can also pace if necessary.
