Extreme Exercise For Seniors
I had to quit going to a gym for a couple of years due to supraventricular
tachycardia
and then afib. Once I was diagnosed and started on meds I couldnt wait to get back to it. I was going 4 or 5 times a week doing cardio on the elliptical every day and strength training 3 times a week.

Ectopics with Inappropriate Sinus Tachycardia (IST)
I was diagnosed 4 years ago with IST after I was in hospital with suspected myocarditis after a viral infection. I am only 18 now and it has changed my life dramatically. I used to be a really active person, playing for three netball teams but now I hardly do anything, even just walking is difficult

HF or not HF - That is the question!
She also has
tachycardia
and edema in her lower legs, and breathlessness. We also see a new cardiologist now and she had an echo done on my mother and venous tests for her lower extremities.

Intermittent chest pain after beta blocker withdrawal
After my GP decided to wean/take me off a beta blocker (Propanalol 10mg) which I was only on for a month (for
tachycardia
and anxiety) I suffered with high BP and palpitations. I have been back on them for a couple of weeks but I am left with a high diastolic BP (90s) and high pulse.

An Experiment! Update
I was getting very concerned that my heart was getting so much worse with almost continual acrobatics and discomfort, it was a vicious cycle of palpitations (oh no, I'm going into AF any minute) better take another flecainide... more palpitations and
tachycardia
etc.

From svt to sinus tachycardia
Since my ablation I have not had heart rates that high but now suffer from sinus
tachycardia
a few times a week. I also have triggers that I did not have before. Am I the only person experiencing this? I feel my doctor is brushing this off as anxiety (which I never had before).

Young man with Palpitations and Tachycardia. Help
I'm a 27 years old male, dealing with palpitatons/
tachycardia
/flutters for about three years. I've had Echocardiograms, ekgs, Holters and blood tests. Cardiologist tells me of relax because I just "have a sensitive electrical syatem". What is that suppose to mean?

Heart murmur/tachycardic
Hi I have been tachycardic for a few years and I’m getting a little breathless (52yrs old) Gp said she has picked up a murmur and on my ecg it says I have sinus
tachycardia
So she has sent me for a echo And said I may have aortic calcification? This is all new to me so any advice please ?

Shortness of breath after ventricular tachycardia
Hi, my husband is 57, was fit and well until He collapsed whilst out running with a heart rate of 260. This was resolved with cardio version. After angiogram, mri and exercise tolerance test the cause was still not clear and he was told there is nothing wrong with his heart. This was three months ago

Had pace maker fitted for persistent af
Obviously I realise it won't stop AF but the worry was that the persistent
tachycardia
and af were damaging my heart. I am 61 with full time active job. Initially it worked well but now I can barely walk again after a pacemaker check and tweak three weeks ago.

Can prednisone cause severe tachycardia (heart rate in 170's)
They diagnosed it as SVT or superventricular
tachycardia
, but blamed it on my lupus since all cardiac tests came back negative. I've been on prednisone before with no problems.

Does anyone else notice an increase in SVTs during peak summer?
I have been able to keep my episodes of
tachycardia
well spaced with yoga, hydration and rest. The summer has set in here and the day temperatures have already touched 40* Celcius. (104 * Fahrenheit).

Meds
I’ve recently had pericarditis and following this have experienced
tachycardia
. My GP started me on 2.5mg if bisoporol. However since takeling this for a few days I have been very drained, resting HR dropping to 55-60 and this is making me feel light headed.

The first asthma attack developed throughout the day, I had been taking my blue inhaler however it didn’t relive
