This is what HRV, heart rate variability is and also PoTs
https://ouraring.com/blog/what-is-heart-rate-variability/ I found this article very helpful especially as one of my grandsons has PoTS, postural orthostatic
tachycardia
syndrome. I sent him a watch sometime ago and now it seems that the HRV feature will be something that is actually useful too.

AV Node Ablation
Standard ablation (I’ve only had one in 2013) – AV node ablation – Epicardial ablation – FIRM ablation – Radio frequency ablation – Ventricular
Tachycardia
ablation or Junctional (Hybrid) ablation.

Post EP study
Hi Have appreciated your stories in particular as I’ve been awaiting an ablation for Ventricular
Tachycardia
. So my story is - 2 days ago I finally got my appointment and had the EP study. Very well briefed as to what to expect. They did 2 circuits but my heart was not misbehaving.

Introduction
I have been suffering from episodes of
tachycardia
since 2013. Lately, I have been debilitated by a string of episodes. I can't even walk out of the street before running to a high BPM and I am completely disoriented.

Does anyone have experience with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome?
Does anyone have Postural Orthostatic
Tachycardia
Syndrome? If so what helps you, this is painful & exhausting. I'm doing salt, electrolytes, compression socks & lots of fluids, eating well like I always do. I have lots of pain & so beyond tired.

sex hormones and severe palpitations?
This month (period is now due in 4 days though it is often irregular) I’ve had horrendous palpitations for almost a week including periods of
tachycardia
I don’t normally get - today alone I’ve had bad thumping palpitations 3 times (starting shortly after every meal) and they can last for a long time

Right sided pain.
Had AFIB and
Tachycardia
in the following months. But no real issues since on the heart side. Have spent the last 2 weekend in hospital after a Cranial CSF Leak repair. Last Saturday night in hospital I developed pain down the right from my ear down my right chest. Lasted about 10 minutes.

Feeling of skipped beats, primarily when lying down at night is happening more frequently lately? (post ablation for SVT 6 years prior)
- I had Superventricular
Tachycardia
(PSVT) diagnosed late teens , with no instances of fast arrythmia since my 3rd and final ablation around 6 years ago.

Worst episode ever, waiting for answers
I had a 24 hour ECG done in December and they found 2 episodes of narrow complex
tachycardia
with a heartbeat of 154bpm. In the report it was labelled as sinus
tachycardia
of gradual onset and offset. There was very occasional atrial and ventricular ectopics.

Arrhythmias/Heart Failure ... this ECG please?
My EF is 27% and I am plagued with either Ventricular
Tachycardia
or Atrial
Tachycardia
, lasting hours sometimes. Recently been in hospital (short stays) when Troponin up and then down again. This happened late on Friday afternoon and of course, there's never anyone to ask.

A small update...
In the letter he says “The first 24 hour ECG that you did showed normal sinus rhythm with at least 2 episodes of narrow complex
tachycardia
with a heartbeat of 154bpm. According to the ECG report the
tachycardia
was labelled as sinus
tachycardia
which was of gradual onset and offset.

Pain in the neck - and elsewhere!
That night, I woke up in the early hours, again in
tachycardia
. I took another flecainide, and again it worked rapidly and I went back to sleep. For those worried that I am self medicating, let me explain.

SVT? Sinus tachy? Or something else
Bought a 6 lead Kardia, shown results to cardiologists, he said some are a bit difficult to read but most are sinus
tachycardia
. The last times this has happened to me it has been while exercising, so I'm booked in for a stress test at the beginning of July.
