What could be causing tachycardia?
Hi lifesavers, Someone has asked if the
tachycardia
I have been getting lately may be caused by the 5mcg of Tiromel that I take in the morning.

Treatment decision Hyperactive
The diagnosis was Thyroid Induced Sinus
Tachycardia
. This has stared to make me wonder if I should proceed with RAI or surgery. I have just had bloods done for this June appointment but no results yet.

Update 7.5
Heart monitor = Several incidents of atrial
tachycardia
that were short-lived. Several looked like a reentrant
tachycardia
. All were 7-13 beats. None were sustained. Rare Premature Ventricular Contractions were noted. Cardiac results pretty good for age 67.

chronic fatigue, and post exertional malaise
That led me to look at my orthostatic intolerance (feeling bad with standing and sitting and better lying down), that’s when I realized I have POTS, postural, orthostatic,
tachycardia
. I believe these are both problems with my autonomic nervous system as the results of my B12 deficiency.

Atrial Tachycardia ablation
But they’ve left me with more regular old atrial
tachycardia
than I had before this whole journey began 8 years ago. My EP said they tried really hard to trigger the
tachycardia
during the last ablation, but didn’t succeed.

miscarriage 11-12 weeks
NIPT at 10 weeks came back low risk but at the private clinic they spotted in an otherwise normal looking fetus, fetal
tachycardia
of 200. Which worried me and that the baby was measuring two days behind on scan.

Holter monitor referral. H
I have got copd and asthma but for the past few weeks have had episodes of
tachycardia
and abnormal ECGs at my docs surgery. I have now been referred for a holter monitor. Just wondered if anyone knew how long the wait is for this thanks.

Counting the days to an ablation for Focal Atrial Tachycardia
Tanta Anna follow up! Has anyone had this type of ablation? It’s my sixth ablation! This has been an awful experience for the last four months- now weaning off atenolol, which may be feel very ill. Stayed on that medication after many other trials. I am in the US, traveling 1000 miles to Dr in

Anyone know of a dentist willing to do tooth extraction on someone with permanent long-standing AF and occasional tachycardia?
I have permanent long-standing AF (so I am constantly in AF and have been for 8 years), with occasional bouts of
tachycardia
(if I get stressed or have to walk too far - I can only walk a few steps without having to stop and rest).

First afib incident since dx 3 years ago
Have been taking Diltiazem 180 mg daily for 3 years without having any
tachycardia
till now. Days with HR 130-140 bpm. I think that it was caused by the stress due to the severe storm that caused many blowdowns (one on my house) loss of power, internet, and downed phone lines.

Alive, with thanks: update on nightmare
He confirmed that I did the right thing in not taking the flecainide because it's an old prescription + I had no idea how long I had been in arrhythmia before the
tachycardia
episode, but he was not prepared to issue any new prescriptions without input from a cardiologist.

Update on CT coronary angiogram - totally confused by results, anyone had this experience?
(By the way, my sister had AVNRT (Atrio ventricular nodal re-entrant
tachycardia
) years ago and it took 5 years to pick it up on a heart monitor and prove she was right. She had to have surgery to stop it. ) Thanks for listening - as always.

Short episodes of atrial tachycardia after second ablation
Now 11 weeks on after ablation 2 and some slight issues this last 2 weeks comprising 3 short (1 to 2 minutes) episodes of atrial
tachycardia
at 120-130BPM. They do self-convert quite quickly and I can make conversion back to NSR quicker by bearing down/straining.

help with results
Symptoms correlated with sinus
tachycardia
and a few isolated ventricular ectopics. If anyone could help me with how serious this appears to be I would be so grateful!

Doctor said ECG results were fine, but when I reviewed the report it says AF detected and wide complex tachycardia detected
I have looked at the report myself and have noticed that it says AF detected and wide complex
tachycardia
detected. I can also see a marker on a graph that looks to me that there was a short period of AF detected whilst I was running. Highlighted in attached report. Questions: 1.

Servers cold
I have vasospastic angina and sinus
tachycardia
. I've been struck down with a severe cough and cold. The cough is like something I've never had before (my daughter has it as well). It's been a long time since I've felt this ill. My worry is my breathing is being effected.
