We are currently in the middle of an important fundraising campaign to kickstart the production of a documentary. We are contacting businesses and individuals who share our passion for helping people with MCAS. Your donation, no matter how big or small, can make a meaningful impact and will be put to good use. Join us in making a difference and help us bring this important project to life.

Donations can be made via form.ldnresearchtrust.org/2... donations over $500 can be Tax Deductible in the US.

The Documentary is led by Dr. Leonard Weinstock (medical advisor to the LDN Research Trust) and Dr. Tania Dempsey.

LDN is used in Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS) treatment plans. The documentary aims to help educate medical professionals and the public on MCAS, postural orthostatic tachycardia (POTS), and Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. Diagnosis and a multi-prong approach to treatment will be discussed. This will include discussion of triggers such as diet, mold, and Lyme disease.

Our documentaries on pain, cancer and Lyme disease have received over a million views across many platforms and accounts.

Basics of MCAS

* MCAS may be congenital: epigenetic disorder induces somatic mutations in some MC progenitor cells

*Aberrant MCs are few at birth & increase with age

*Rarely serious as infant/child, often resolves, & worsens as teenager into adulthood

*Aberrant MCs are instigators of MCAS yet remain less in #

*Mediators of aberrant MCs activate healthy MCs & their mediators do the same at neighboring MCs

*Mediators of healthy MCs are main inducers of symptoms

Molderings. Crit Rev Onc Hem. 2015.

Any help and support you can povide to the making of this documentary will be greatly appreciated.

The Documentary is being produced for the LDN Research.
