Some experiences on cardiac symptoms
No
surgery
on the cards. About three months ago I was shopping when I experienced a severe pain in my upper back and left arm. My arm felt heavy and I had to put some of my shopping down. It lasted only about 2 minutes and disappeared just as quickly as it started.

Husband's strange mark
I called the
surgery
and requested a call back rather than sitting for an hr to speak to them, When they called back around 3 hrs later, they booked to see a nurse stating only a nurse sees patient's with suspect skin issues.

Starting C25K in January
For context I will be 70 in December have this year gone into diabetes type 2 remission, had a TAVI in August and am now undergoing radiotherapy for lung cancer - it's a lot and there has been only 4 weeks between heart
surgery
and cancer treatment.

Five weeks post Op
I am aiming to go back to work in May which will be roughly twelve weeks after
surgery
and back to some normality, I have decided to drop a day at work when I return so will only be doing four days instead of five.

A big unknown
So it wasn't
surgery
that triggered it for me but I've never been able to get a straight answer as to whether Covid and/or booster caused it.

A return of the dreaded mongrel .......... ????? Part 2
Well, made contact with
surgery
( I was 10th in the queue ) couldn't talk to anyone ( GP or Pharmacist ). Left a message and a return phone call a few hours later told me to take 2 blood pressure readings am and pm. for the next 7 days. Excellent stalling practice !

Thank you
I just knew I had prostrate cancer and needed to make a decision -
surgery
or radiation. I stumbled through this process by reading your inputs on this forum.

Workplace Accommodations
Hi all - my endo has caused me a few abscesses from work since my
surgery
. I’m lucky that my work are so understanding with it and they want to help me manage as best I can. I am due to have a meeting next week to see how they can help and what if any accommodations they can put in place for me.

patch
I’ve been recommended it for stage 4 endo,
surgery
is 2+ years waiting list. I don’t react too well to hormones, but I’m at a point where it can’t be worse. I’ve also seen posts about dienogest, I took progesterone years ago and didn’t take well to it at all, is it the same as dienogest?

advice sought
I’m on APIXABAN with no effects, however my GP
surgery
(the pharmacist) has suggested I take a STATIN (Atorvastatin) because of slightly high cholesterol (5.11).

Finished C25K post hip replacement
Hopefully his research will show the benefits of running post replacement
surgery
(looking at knees as wells as hips) and that it doesn’t necessarily mean the end of running just because you have had a replacement.

Not worried about anonymity
Tried to get onto Wikipedia where I thought my longevity as happened here get people who have had bypass
surgery
to look ahead with more confidence. However they said no because of self interest, how else do they get their stories in some cases?

Prayers needed. Again. Or still.
And then after that, oh well she needs another test and another one and he's considering
surgery
but maybe not. They scheduled her to begun cancer drugs a while back and then postponed it. I don't even remember how long it's been, but I'm beyond angry at his carelessness.

Alimta - Fevers
After initial
surgery
and chemo she was in remission for 5 years but unfortunately the beast returned in 2021 and since then she has been under constant treatment. Her last scan a few months back showed progression with mets on the liver growing in size.
