For me I have to say I honestly don't know. An unexplained collapse in April 2020 started it all. Don't remember feeling anything in my chest at the time but then again don't remember much until coming round on the kitchen floor.

Loop recorder implanted July 2020 then picked up subtle abnormalities over the next 16 months. My next significant episode was 3 weeks or so after my booster, started to collapse and literally on the verge of blacking out which the loop recorder picked up followed by another exactly 3 months later.

So it wasn't surgery that triggered it for me but

I've never been able to get a straight answer as to whether Covid and/or booster caused it.
