Guinness World Record Holder as Longest Surviving Triple Heart Bypass Patient in the World.
Put that in on The Guinness World Record Website starting with Longest. My name is Colin Hancock put that in on UTube plus Longest Surviving there is an interesting video of me and walking football team mates using the award to attract more players.Plus also a surprise to me a video I think inPakistan recounting my story.
Tried to get onto Wikipedia where I thought my longevity as happened here get people who have had bypass surgery to look ahead with more confidence. However they said no because of self interest, how else do they get their stories in some cases?
Also check the press can’t believe how far flung the record has reached.Good Hunting and Enjoy.

Congratulations. Regarding Wikipedia, it is an encyclopedia and so exists to summarise neutrally what existing reliable sources say about notable topics. It does not provide a platform for raising awareness or promotion etc so there tends to be a high bar to get new articles accepted. Every detail that appears there needs to be verifiable with reference to independent and reliable sources.
Well ok but I have seen a few cases of stars who have had triple bypass’s how is that anymore relevant than my case?Where does that info come from? My contention as proven by what appears on this forum is how my longevity after op lifts and encourages people.
Why shouldn’t I be pleased about my achievement which is what seems to be the block on me.When you look up CABG on Wikipedia they give a potential time for life expectancy which is nowhere near my 47 years, even if they don’t mention my name just the achievement. It would buoy people up who may check Wikipedia give them hope for a longer LIFE.
If they were to check Guinness World Record Website put my name in and longest surviving or Google that my achievement is in Technicolor GWRW and black and white in the press.
The info always comes from primary sources, not a tertiary source. So books, journals, notable newspapers writing substantial articles about a subject. Where biographies appear in encyclopedia there would be a lot of source material to draw from. The judgement about importance isn't made by Wikipedia, it is inferred from coverage in those sources
