Spire Cambridge hospital, no icu
I recently found out most spire hospitals don’t have icu for after
surgery
, including the spire Cambridge hospital which I have a booked consultation at. Has anyone had
surgery
here or knows what happens if anything goes wrong after
surgery
?

Surgery to remove FNH
Hi all, I have been here before but it was quite a while ago. (10 months) Over the last two years, I have been in pain on my upper right quadrant, had lots of scans, tests which included an unpleasant ERCP being done as one thought was that the sphincter of oddi could have been the culprit. For a

Had the
surgery
last week. Had to get second operation to address post operative internal bleeding. I have a lot of bruising from the ribs to my vagina and my abdomen is very swollen. The most interesting thing is that the surgeon did not find any Endometriosis inside of me!

Rib pain after surgery
Hi, I had a laparoscopy two days ago and I've been getting a pain when I lie down in my right collar bone and right lower side ribs. It gets worse when I breath deeply. Did anyone else have this, or know the cause? Is it just the gas they put in?

Surgery cancelled
So today should have been my op and I was more than ready for cancellation, not a big deal to be honest. What got me was the reason, we all expect lack of ICU bed, lack of doctors, emergency admission, strikes etc. What surprised me was after pre-op appt tests, scans, video of what to expect I get told

independent of the presence of endo lesions, but also that ED visits after

for pain flares were not reduced by having had

Surgery etc.
Anyway, I've had 6 rounds of intensive chemo as consultant wanted to contain the cancer before
surgery
. I managed chemo okay with a few issues. Proliferal neuropathy in fingers and feet but got through it reasonably well. My CA125 levels dropped to 27 and she said the cancer had shrunk.

post surgery update, thank you
hi everyone, I posted on here when I was in hospital struggling with post operation issues. Thank you to everyone for your support and suggestions to help me get through. I’ve been home for about a week now and recovering really well, managing short walks and thank goodness bowel and stomach complications

Had surgery
I have finally been listened to by surgeon and had a decompression procedure. It has eased the tugging pulling electric zapping sensations in my leg off quite a bit...( the mri showed L5 S1 compressing the nerve. It is still there but I can live with it at the moment. He said if it doesn't resolve totally

My daughter donated a kidney 9 months ago and has experienced changes since the
