is it safe to go under general anesthesia with second degree heart block Mobitz type 1?

i am having unrelated surgery next week and wanted to know if it is safe or will my block progress to total block under general anesthesia? Wanted to speak to others who had surgery with this condition

As I replied in one of your previous posts about this, I have had 2 major ops since 2nd degree block diagnosis and had no problems at all.

You have to trust your Anaesthetist and you will be fine.

Im not permanently paced it only kicks in if my rate goes below 60 and the download shows that rarely happens. While you are under anaesthetic all your vitals will be closely monitored and the anaesthetist will look after you.

Only thing is I wont have a pacer :( during anesthesia

The Anaesthetist is there to make sure you are ok, that’s what they do.
