Had surgery

I have finally been listened to by surgeon and had a decompression procedure. It has eased the tugging pulling electric zapping sensations in my leg off quite a bit...( the mri showed L5 S1 compressing the nerve. It is still there but I can live with it at the moment. He said if it doesn't resolve totally in 3 months he will fuse it. Thank god the surgeon believed me and did something, I was close to ending it all. It is sad that I had to suffer this torture for nearly 2 years before someone would listen and do the test needed to see what was going on.

Well surgeon has gone back on his word and won't fuse now.....the tugging and electric zaps are back with full force again......I take temgesic which dulls it by about 20 percent.....I wish drs would realise they are playing with peoples lives and don't give promises that they can't keep.
